[Photo|KFCB]The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) has warned media houses to stop people masquerading as political analysts from spreading war mongering, incitement and propaganda. The Board is working with the Media Council of Kenya to develop and enforce guidelines for political commentaries. "Media houses should subject political analysts to some level of responsibility by getting them to sign to uphold decorum and promote national cohesion in their analysis," Kenya Film Classification Board Chief Executive Officer Dr Ezekiel Mutua, said.He warned that both media houses and individual commentators will be held accountable for what they say on air. "We also caution media houses to avoid live coverage of political rallies. Some political pronouncements by politicians are disturbing and have the potential of undermining national peace and security. Real time transmission of political rallies must be avoided as much as possible," said Mutua, in a statement, Sunday.
