Kenya's leading hip-hop artist Papa Jones just released his much anticipated 2018 album dubbed ''Testimony 1990''.
The album features a number of well known artist including Sagini, Fena Gitu (Kenya), Mr. Eazi (West Africa), Ray C from Tanzania among others.
What surprised his fans is the exclusion of the newest female rapper in the 254, Msupa S from the album.
Well, after hyping a lot about their new music ''Watajua Hawajui'' which is doing very well on Youtube at the moment, the expectations of their fans was the song to also feature on the new album.
Speculation aside, Papa Jones brought Msupa S into the spotlight with that particular song.
And this was a great favor for the new female rapper whose previous music had been trashed down by many Kenyans considering the quality of the audio and the videos.
While some Kenyan artists (positively) suggested that Msupa S should get some voice training and skills on how to write a good lyrical flow, other established artists 'booed' the singer and publicly discredited her.
On his Twitter page, Khaligraph Jones argued that the singer possess a lot of confidence and that's why he opted to highlight her music.
It should be understood that music industry is not a walk in - walk out kind of industry. When you have the heart to do music, make an effort to fully support that career. Music career is just as hard as other careers, but the difference comes in depending on the hard work you put in. As for Msupa S, only time will tell whether her effort is bearing fruits.
