Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale has hailed Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery as a ‘good’ man working for wrong people.
Nkaissery, a former ODM MP, was appointed by President Uhuru Kenyatta to his cabinet after being in the Orange party for over 8 years.
Speaking on Friday during the burial of the veteran politician John Keen, Khalwale cautioned Nkaissery against deploying police officers to parliament buildings.
“I want to thank our friend Nkaissery for the good work he is doing. But sometimes, he gets out of touch by deploying police officers to parliament which is wrong,” said Khalwale.
“You don’t have to execute orders all the times Mr. General. Sometimes it’s good to be who you are. Do not allow the wrong people you are working for to mislead you,” he said.
Khalwale urged Jubilee senators from Maa community to vote against controversial election law amendments saying that they would not allow minorities to govern the country.
