Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale says any opposition candidate who would be chosen as flag bearer shall win 2017 polls.
Raila Odinga (ODM), Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) and Musalia Mudavadi of ANC have both expressed interest in the ticket.
The opposition team is reportedly finalizing on formation of a grand coalition dubbed National Super Alliance.
“Do not worry at all with regard to our candidate in 2017 because all our leaders are capable of unseating Jubilee. We have people who have been tested and qualified before,” Khalwale said during rally at Nyamira.
“Jubilee has lost ground and I can assure you President Kenyatta is very weak. Our candidate is very popular and any of them shall easily trounce Jubilee even if elections are held today,” he said.
Khalwale had accompanied Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula who was opening party offices in Nyamira County on Sunday.
