[Photo| Courtesy]Former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale has hit out at the Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i over the transfer of school principals in Western region. The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) on Friday conducted massive reshuffle of head teachers of secondary schools top performers with most schools in Western part of Kenya being affected.Among the affected schools include Kakamega high, Friends School Kamusinga, Vihiga boys, Malava Boys, Chesamis, Chavakali boys, Lugulu Girls, Cardinal Otunga Girls, St Mary’s Kibabii Boys High School, St Luke’s Kimilili Boys High among others. Following the reshuffle, Khalwale wondered what was going on in the Ministry of Education. The bullfighter further noted that the massive reshuffle cannot be justified. He called on Matiang'i to stop the transfers which are supposed to be effected in January next year."Quite honestly what's going on at the MoE? Is @FredMatiangi running the entire ministry all by himself? The announced massive reshufle in our top schools in Western affecting senior, respected & tested principals cannot be justified! Waziri, stop it man!" Khalwale tweeted, Friday.
