Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has attacked National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate Raila Odinga for allegedly instructing voters to vote “ODM six piece” on August 8.
Khalwale termed the call as “reckless”, saying the Orange Democratic Movement leader already has the support of all Nasa parties.
“@RailaOdinga, th (sic) ODM 6 piece call is reckless! U've 100% support from NASA parties. Kakamega is Uhuru out/Raila in, Oparanya out/Khalwale in,” the senator posted on Twitter on Tuesday evening.
Voting six piece would mean that voters vote strictly for ODM candidates, from MCA to Woman Representatives, MPs, Senators, Governors and the Presidential candidate.
Khalwale, Ford Kenya’s deputy party leader, must have been infuriated by Raila’s call, since he will be vying against an ODM candidate in the August general election.
The bullfighter will be seeking to unseat Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, ODM’s deputy party leader.
