Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has hit out at former Devolution Cabinet secretary Ann Waiguru over the National Youth Service (NYS) corruption scandal.

Speaking at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega town on Saturday during the National Super Alliance (Nasa) rally to officially launch Raila Odinga’s presidential bid, Khalwale accused Waiguru of stealing money from the NYS project.

He said that if Raila is voted in as Kenya’s next president in the August 8 polls, he will deal with all corrupt individuals.

“The time I saw madam Ann Waiguru boasting on television because you can do nothing for the money she has stolen of NYS, I said God Almighty, give me, Musalia and Wetangula strength, so that we can persuade the Luhya community to vote for Raila as the president so that we shall never hear people like Ann Waiguru, little girls whose only talent is their beauty,” said Khalwale.
