Speaking on AM Live on Tuesday, the Ford-Kenya deputy party leader who revealed a brewing conspiracy between President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga to suppress the bid, hailed Ruto's resilience and hard work towards achieving the dream.

He lauded the DP's commitment towards bringing to an end the rule of the Kenyatta, Odinga, Moi and Kibaki political dynasties, noting that he has proved his worth and ability to take over despite hailing from a common family.

''I support Ruto against the political dynasties which have now united against him. He is putting up a strong fight to bring to an end the rule of these families and proving that anyone can ascend to top national leadership in this country,'' said Khalwale who alleged that the anti-Ruto team also includes former Presidents Daniel Moi and Mwai Kibaki's quarters.

His comments were echoed by Tongaren Member of Parliament Eseli Simiyu who noted that Ruto will emerge the victor in the scheme, advising him to remain calm and observe his assailants' moves.

''Ruto has to only remain quiet and await his victory. His humble background will award him a majority of the votes of low earners who can relate to him and who form the biggest section of Kenyans,'' said the lawmaker.
