Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale has accused Cord co-principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula of failing to address corruption in county governments.
During an interview with KTN on Friday, the leader said the leaders become very vocal when a scandal involving the national government is unearthed but go silent when counties are involved.
''It is sad that the principals are only vocal when the national government is involved in graft but when it comes to corruption within the counties they go quiet.''said the leader.
The three principals have been in the front line in exposing and condemning scandals involving the national government including the NYS saga where Sh1.8 billion was lost through questionable tenders and the recent one involving Sh3 billion at Afya House.
However, none of them has come out to speak on the Sh51 million Kilifi County scandal despite pressure from some of the coast leaders allied to the Jubilee administration who are demanding for their comments on the matter.
Khalwale also urged the trio to join hands with the Senate and MCAs to counter corruption that is costing the country billions of shillings.
''I also urge Raila, Kalonzo and Wetangula to join the Senate and MCA's in fighting graft,'' he requested.
