Former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale has dared the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party to go ahead and remove Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula as the leader of minority in the senate.
ODM is set to eject Wetangula from the senate leadership and replace him with Siaya senator James Orengo.
Reports indicate majority of the NASA senators said they have lost their confidence in the Ford Kenya senator.
Their move comes days after the ODM party leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta met and reconciled to work together for the sake of the country's unity.
Taking to his twitter page on Monday, Khalwale told off ODM that the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition parties which include Wiper, ANC and Ford Kenya had mobilised 95 per cent of their supporters to vote for Raila in the August 8 general election.
The bullfighter further expressed his disappointment with ODM saying the party wants to embarrassing the Ford Kenya Party leader and the Luhya community.
"Our dear @TheODMparty , NASA partners, in good faith we mobilized 95% of our people to vote for @RailaOdinga on 8/8/17. Were u expecting us to break into Statehouse to instal him? U now want to embarrass@Wetangulam & by extension the Baluhyia? GO AHEAD & REMOVE HIM....," Khalwale tweeted.
