The Senator claimed Jubilee was using Ngunyi to express their views, and compared his politics to "those of a woman past menopause expecting triplets."

"What Mutahi Ngunyi wrote in The Standard on Sunday was an admission by the Jubilee government that their thinking has been badly defeated by the opposition," he told NTV's AMLive Show on Monday.

"They just had to resort to somebody like Mutahi Ngunyi, whose politics is like that of a woman who has gone beyond menopause expecting to deliver triplets," he added.

On the assenting to the controversial electoral law by the President, Khalwale said it was just a confirmation of his doubts that the Head of State was behind the passing of the laws by Parliament.

"I thought the President would wait until the next day to assent to the contentious electoral laws. But his rush to ascend to it only confirms my doubts that he was the force behind the changes in the electoral laws," he said.
