Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has hit out at the Jubilee Party urging it's members to stop speculating Kalonzo Musyoka's imminent departure from the National Super Alliance (NASA).
Speaking during an interview on NTV's AMLive show on Tuesday, Khalwale said the alliance is yet to decide on who will carry the NASA flag in the August 8 general election.
"Who told these Jubilee people that Kalonzo is being locked out of the race of being the opposition flag bearer?" he posed.
"We have neither acted nor talked about who will be our flag bearer," he added.
The Ford Kenya deputy party leader remarks was in response to claims that Kalonzo was feeling disgruntled in the opposition and could be shifting his allegiance to Jubilee.
Khalwale, however, defended the opposition saying Kalonzo was strongly in NASA and compared him to a taken girl that Jubilee was salivating for.
"This is like a girl you believe should be yours who is married to someone else. You then go outside the man's house at 9 pm saying the girl inside is yours," he said.
"Jubilee should know the girl is taken and move on," he added.
Kalonzo has since dismissed the claims he will bolt out of the new political outfit saying he is in Nasa to stay.
