Former Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale has been holed in a strategy meeting in Naivasha.
The meeting is in efforts to craft a plan on how to dilute a backlash facing Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi after they failed to accompany Raila Odinga for the January 30 mock swearing-in.
Sources said Khalwale led a 10-member team to the Naivasha hiding.
They were to also receive a report of a special technical team advising Ford Kenya and Amani National Congress (ANC) on the recent events in NASA.
Sources close to Wetangula and Mudavadi intimated that the two camps want to save themselves from political oblivion after it emerged some elements within NASA are taking advantage of the duo's absence to 'finish' them politically.
The meeting, a source said, resolved to push a campaign of how the Musalia, Kalonzo, and Wetangula had stood with Raila during worse times.
If they were cowards, the source said, they wouldn't have stood with him.
