[Photo| the-star]Former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale and Narok senator Ledama Ole Kina have hit out at the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet following the ban on the National Super Alliance (Nasa) supporters to enter JKIA, Friday.The supporters had been called upon by their leaders to go and receive the opposition leader Raila Odinga and former deputy president Kalonzo Musyoka who will be jetting back to the country on that day. Police however through a statement on Wednesday said the Airport was out of bounds to the opposition supporters citing security issues. Khalwale has however told Boinnet that the Airport is not a restricted area adding that it is not a military installation. "Mr Assistant IG, the JKIA is not a military installation, it is not a restricted area and infact it has a special terminal 4 reception of dignitaries like @RailaOdinga," Khalwale twitted, Wednesday. Ole kina also through a tweet on Wednesday, asked Nasa followers to ignore the police order. "Ignore orders from @JBoinnet & @UKenyatta Of barring NRM supporters from JKIA We must welcome @RailaOdinga .let us meet there on friday I hope Uhuru learns from what has besieged his friend Mugabe bindu bichenjanga the weapons you use against us can also be used against you," said the senator.
