Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya and senator Boni Khalwale on Wednesday attacked each other on social media.
The brawl erupted after Oparanya took on twitter and accused Khalwale of transporting people in lorries to attend his rallies.
“The competition has become very tough. @KBonimtetezi has decided to ferry people in lorries from Kakamega town to attend his rallies ’’Oparanya Tweeted.
In a quick rejoinder, the outspoken senator retaliated a number of accusations against the ODM governor.
The bullfighter rubbished Oparanya’s claims saying his rallies were spontaneous.
“Ha! Didn't u know that u are facing Khalwale, the master mobilizer? Careful, u might just loose ua mind. Our huge rallies are spontaneous’’ the senator responded.
He further accused the Kakamega county boss of being involved in corruption scandals.
Khalwale who is vying for the governorship seat on a Ford Kenya party ticket is seeking to unseat incumbent Oparanya in the upcoming August 8 general election.
