Former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale has praised the NASA deputy presidential candidate Kalonzo Musyoka for 'agitating for Kenyans rights' despite his ailing wife.

Khalwale said the Wiper leader is a hero despite criticisms he is receiving for snubbing NASA leader Raila Odinga's inauguration on Tuesday.

“When Kalonzo broke down in tears during the NASA presser, I for sure saw his immense depth and resilience. This man has been leaving behind his beloved sick wife to come and fight for us! Man, however much they bash you, always remember that you are indomitable and you are my hero,” Khalwale tweeted.

During the presser, Raila condemned those behind the attack.

Raila asked them to consider the fact that his deputy who is yet to be 'sworn in' has an ailing wife.

"Sorry to my brother Kalonzo Musyoka for his home's attack, my brother here has got a sick wife who is ambulant in the house. Imagine the kind of shock such a person would receive when a grenade is thrown into the compound, and bullets are fired," said self-declared People’s President Raila Odinga.
