Khalwale who was speaking during the first joint rally of the opposition under National Super Alliance(NASA) outfit, said that it was only in Bomet that there were doctors in hospitals.

He said the Jubilee government had failed to build stadiums they promised Kenyans yet, governor Ruto had built one in the county.

"My work as a senator is to check on how our governors are using our money at the county level. I am delighted to report to you that out of all the 47 counties it is only the County of Bomet led by Isaac Ruto that the doctors are in hospitals," he said at the Bomet Stadium on Saturday.

"I am proud of governor Ruto. When Uhuru and his deputy were campaigning they promised to build 5 stadiums across the country, the did not build a single one, but Isaac Ruto has built a 57,000 sitter stadium," he added.

Khalwale also asked the locals to shun the Jubilee government and vote for the opposition in large numbers in the forthcoming August polls.

"I came here with Mudavadi to ask for your votes in 2012 and we lost. I want to leave with a different feeling today. I want to form a lasting partnership that will translate into votes that will then put Kenya back to the development track," he said.
