Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale has claimed that he was the first person to be punished by Jubilee party back in 2013.
The vocal senator who was speaking on a local Television station while defending the move by his Ford Kenya Party to punish rebels, stated that Jubilee party was playing innocent yet it had punished him earlier while in UDF.
"Kenyans must know I was the first person to be disciplined in this country by the Jubilee Party," he said.
Khalwale said that Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi was tricked into believing that UDF would be part of Jubilee.
"My then leader of UDF ,Musalia Mudavadi was miss guided to think that UDF could be part of Jubilee. I refused because i was brought up well, i went to the floor of the house and i said i am not going to be in Jubilee," he said
"When Mudavadi heard this, he said to me that i am throwing you out the party i told him to bring it on," he added
Khalwale alleged that it took the intervention of UDF officials for him to stay in the party.
"Fortunately for him officials in UDF went to court to challenge that Mudavadi was not an official of UDF, so he could not discipline me," he said.
