Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has expressed fears that NASA coalition may be on the brink of collapse if the latest turn of events within the opposition outfit are not expeditiously addressed.

While urging the coalition Chiefs to step up their fight for the future of the outfit, Khalwale asked them to come out clean and explain to their supporters what transpired on January 30, the day Raila was sworn in as the People's President.

"Dangerous statements catalysing the possible disintegration of NASA are coming in thick & fast, from our members & even elected leaders. I ask our co-principals to individually step forward, & without diplo-speak, disclose to Kenyans what transpired before and on 30/8/2017, " Khalwale who is also Ford Kenya deputy party leader said in a statement posted on his Twitter handle.

The Raila " swearing in" function at Uhuru Park was skipped by all his coalition partners in an event that exposed the undercurrents that run deep within the opposition outfit. Since then, the coalition principals have been putting on brave faces allaying fears of disunity.
