In a tweet that has attracted many comments,the politician and doctor says the yesterday's KCSE results are a mass failure and not tied to the "normal distribution curve",which he says he understands.
"I understand the principle of normal distribution curve very well.@FredMatiangi , this is no such curve. It is simply mass failure of our children!" Read part of the tweet.
The former senator has gone on to urge Matiang'i to stop his "populism" and give account of the change in the grading system,since he was appointed into office by president Kenyatta.
" ....Stop your populism & tell us exactly what has gone wrong with the grading system since u became CS!,"read the rest of the tweet.
This comes shortly after the KSCE results were released yesterday, going into record as the first exam to be announced before new year.
In this year's KCSE examinations, only 70,073 students met the university requirements out of 615,773 who sat for the National exams.
