Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has threatened to reveal fraudulent dealings in incumbent Governor Wycliffe Oparanya’s government as he seeks to smoke him out of office during the next general polls.

Speaking at his office in Kakamega town on Saturday after naming Eng James Lusamamba as his running mate, Khalwale said that he is aware of various scandals within the Kakamega County government, adding that he will unleash one after another in a few days.

“I am going to release a scandal by Oparanya every week. I will release scandals that are backed by documents. Oparanya should now prepare to face the truth about the mismanagement of public finances in his government,” he said, as quoted by Star. 

The senator also said that he Oparanya does not scare him in any way even if he used choppers to mobilize residents of Kakamega to back his re-election. 

The outspoken Senator also faulted Oparanya for doing little in order to change the life of common mwananchi since he took over power after the last general election. 

Khalwale further promised Oparanya a run for his money adding that the race to dethrone from power has began. Kakamega gubernatorial race is among the races to watch during the forth coming general elections.
