[Photo: edaily.co.ke]Boni Khalwale has hit the campaign trail hard for Raila Odinga as Kenyans gear up for the rerun. This is after the Supreme Court nullified President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win following the August 8 election in which it was found the IEBC bungled the poll.Since then, Friday, September 1, both the Jubilee Party and the National Super Alliance have been engaged in higher gear campaigns to see their candidate win the October 17 repeat presidential election.Uhuru and Raila will be the only candidates on the ballot paper and each believes they will win by a huge margin. In Kakamega County, the former senator did his part on Saturday, September 9, combining his love for Raila and bullfighting to sell the opposition leader’s agenda.Khalwale was the guest of honour at a Raila Odinga for president bullfighting event held in Shinyalu constituency. His unique campaign rally endeared him to Kenyans who branded him a true Luhya leader.Within just 34 days to the grand rematch, alliances have been shifting and NASA have been fortunate to harvest a number of politicians from the Jubilee camp as they work to solidify their support base. It now remains to be seen who will emerge the winner as both camps continue engaging in a war of words over the supreme court ruling, the October  17 date set by the IEBC  as well as Uhuru’ s  threats to chief justice David Maraga and the Judiciary after they issued their verdict.
