Former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale was on Monday afternoon involved in a road accident.

According to Khalwale, the accident happened along Mombasa Road.

The bullfighter through his twitter account noted that he and his wife  luckily escaped unhurt.

He blamed the accident on a reckless driver whom he claimed hit their car several times.

"My wife & I have luckily just escaped unhurt after some recklessly driver hit our car several times from the rear along Mombasa Rd...," Khalwale tweeted, Monday.
