Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale has urged Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua to work with the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) ahead of the 2017 elections.
Speaking on Citizen TV's Power Breakfast show on Thursday, Khalwale said Cord needs the support of Karua ahead of the polls.
The Senator described the former Justice minister as a democratic leader who has principles adding that her political experience is needed in Cord as it seeks to unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August polls.
“Martha Karua should partner with Cord as we put in place strategies on how to defeat Uhuru in 2017,” he said during the interview.
Khalwale asked the Narc Kenya leader not to fall for Jubilee Party.
Meanwhile, the Kakamega Senator claims that President Uhuru's, Jubilee Party will not exist beyond 2017.
He claimed that the newly launched outfit will soon collapse.
Khalwale added that the merger of Jubilee coalition affiliate parties was not sincere adding that some members are already disgruntled with the party top leadership.
Speaking during the interview, Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi told off Khalwale saying that the party will exist beyond 2022.
“Those claiming that JP will collapse are in for a rude shock because the party will exist beyond 2022,” he said.
There have been claims that some parties that merged to form JP are not happy with the party top leadership.
The parties claim that their opinion on key issues is not being ignored by top leaders.
Among disgruntled politicians who have raised reservations about how Jubilee Party is running its activities is former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile whose party TIP folded and merged to form Jubilee Party.
