Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has revisited the incident in which former IEBC Information Technology chief Chris Msando was murdered.
Khalwale who commended the three IEBC commissioners- Consolata Nkatha Maina, Paul Kurgat and Margaret Mwachanya for their resignation on Monday from the electoral agency said their departure was good riddance to the country.
"Dear IEBC commissioners, thank you for your resignation. Actually it is good riddance. Our only and collective regret is that you blew up the 2017 general elections, allowing computers (but not voters) to decide the ‘winners’. Now tell us who killed Chris Misango!" the outspoken former Ikolomani MP said on his Twitter account.
Msando who worked as IEBC Information Technology chief disappeared for one week before his body was found at the City mortuary on July 31,2017.
He is said to have been kidnapped by unknown people before his official Range Rover car was recovered at the Thika Road Shopping Mall.
His death elicited mixed reactions as Kenyans asked if the IEBC would have the capacity to conduct a free and fair election with the killing of the IT expert who had assured Kenyans that the technology used by the electoral agency would not be hacked and presidential results doctored.
Police are yet to arrest anyone in connection with the death of Mr Msando.
