Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has asked opposition leader Raila Odinga to support Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's presidential bid in 2022.
The firebrand politician from Western said Kalonzo had sacrificed a lot in pushing for Raila's presidency calling on the former prime minister to celebrate Kalonzo by supporting his quest to escend to State House during the next general election.
"This man Kalonzo! The most insulted by the ODM party leader alive! Give it to him, he ran for president in 2007 and got a cool one million votes plus," Khalwale said on his official Twitter account.
"The former Vice President has twice (2013 and 2017) supported our brother Raila Odinga. Not a mean thing. Man, I celebrate u!"
There is currently antagonism within the NASA coalition following the decision by Raila to secretly meet President Uhuru Kenyatta at his Harambee House on March 9.
The born of contention is that the ODM party which Raila leads sealed secret deal that may dent Kalonzo quest for the presidency in 2022.
Kalonzo's Wiper party has threatened to walk out of NASA uneless Raila lays bear details of his meeting with Uhuru.
Leaders allied to NASA affiliate parties- Wiper Amani National Congress and Ford Kenya have read mischief in ODM's decision to agree to work with Uhuru's Jubilee Party.
Kalonzo insists he will be on the ballot in 2022 with or without Raila's backing.
