Former Kakamega Senator Dr. Boni Khalwale has wooed Deputy President William Ruto to forge a holistic unity with the western leaders in his journey to the house on the hill in 2022.
Speaking during a bullfighting event at Malinya village in Ikolomani constituency, the Ford Kenya deputy party leader challenged DP Ruto to amalgamate with Amani National Congress (ANC) and Ford Kenya party leaders in a view to bagging the huge vote-blocks in the region.
"Deputy President, you come to us as the presidential candidate of your single party, then rest assured that ANC and Ford Kenya will merge into a single party as well. After this, all three of you will then be left to decide on who will run for the presidency and who will become the deputy president,’’ Khalwale stated.
The former Senator assured the Deputy President of unwavering support from the westerners should he heed his call unequivocally.
He further claimed that such confederation would be invincible as it would merge skilled politicians that would derive the agenda of the country professionally.
Khalwale has been championing for the amalgamation of ANC and Ford-Kenya to form a formidable party so as to have more to bargain in the national platform.
