The Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC) has the NGO Coordination Board over its directive to strike out its certificate of registration.

Through lawyer Nzamba Kitonga, the NGO argues that it was never furnished with a notice to show cause or any opportunity.

Kitonga stated that the directive as arbitrary and unlawful.

The NGO board has come under sharp criticism over the crackdown on NGOs.

According to many, the crackdown is aimed at getting back on NGOs that are against the state.
