The strife between Machakos county governor Dr Alfred Mutua and his deputy Bernard Kiala has taken a new twist.
This is after Kiala accused Mutua of providing the least required services to Machakos residents and failing to address key challenges facing residents.
In a photo depicting a water tank watering flowers and posted by Kiala on his official Twitter account on Friday, Kiala argued that it was absurd that Governor Mutua was prioritising on watering flowers instead of deflecting the commodity to other meaningful quarters.
"Chap chap does it again. What needs water most, the withering maize in the farm or the flowers? Lopsided priority," Kiala tweeted.
Both Kiala and Mutua have been having a strained working relationship since 2014 when the two openly traded sex and corruption allegations.
