Machakos deputy governor Bernard Kiala on Wednesday donated wheel chairs and poultry to people living with disabilities in Kiima Kimwe.
The deputy governor took time to listen to their concerns, their challenges and how far they have come as a group. They registered a group under the name Tukilanye Self Help group based at Mwanyani in Kiima Kimwe ward.
Thereafter, he availed chicks to the group which are supposed to earn them income.
Several wheel chairs were also donated at the visit. Bernard Kiala recently launched the Ugatuzi na Kiala a civic education program that is meant to equip the people with knowledge on devolution matters.
This friday the deputy governor will host a Gala dinner for the iniatitive and he has invited everyone to attend.
