Machakos deputy governor and gubernatorial aspirant Bernard Kiala Thursday met opinion leaders and residents of Mavoko sub-county in Mlolongo.

Kiala informed the residents on the Ugatuzi na Kiala iniative which according to him stands for good governance, public participation and devolution.

Kiala educated residents on different roles of officers in county government such as ward and village administrators which are currently not in place in Machakos county. 

After launching the Ugatuzi na Kiala program early this year Kiala has been touring many areas in Machakos county educating the citizenry on devolution.
