Machakos county Deputy Governor Bernard Kiala has lauded the #UgatuziNaKiala programme initiated by his office.
Speaking on Saturday during the official launch of the programme in Masinga sub-county, Kiala noted the significance of the programme noting that the citizenry needed to be equipped with a better understanding in matters of governance, leadership and management.
"The train has left the station, No turning back and the onus is now on you to champion the cause. By the end of the programme, Ugatuzi Na Kiala is expected to have made you a better Citizen in understanding matters of Governance, Leadership and Management and how your leaders are supposed to govern us," Kiala said.
The Deputy Governor further thanked residents for turning up in their numbers for launch and for their support towards the programme.
"I once again take this opportunity to thank you for your unwavering faith in me. Your support means a lot to me. Thank you Masinga people for believing in this cause," he said.
