The launch was at Mukusu Village in Masinga and was well attended. According to Kiala, devolution in Machakos has not been very successful because the citizens lack information on the devolution concept.

Kiala said he will forward the development information bill to the county assembly which will provide information to citizens on the status of current projects by the county government.

The civic education program will be distributed to the whole of Machakos county.

Kiala further called on the county government to employ village administrators and village council members as per the Constitution.

Politics had its fare share at the event as the deputy governor reinstated that he is willing to work with all leaders from the Wiper party in order to save the county.

Aspiring women representative Madam Rita Ndunge was booed and had a difficult time making her speech in the event.

Kiala said that he will launch his Gubernatorial ambition in Machakos at a later date after holding consultative meetings in all sub-counties.
