Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has graduated with a master’s in Business administration.
Waititu alias Baba Yao was among 2,800 other graduands on Saturday 14 during Kenya Methodist University’s 17th graduation ceremony.
Other politicians who graduated include Meru County speaker Joseph Kabaria and former Buuri MP.
KNUT chairman Mudzo Nzili was also awarded a degree.
Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi who officiated the event asked people to backup primary and secondary education.
"Graduands should also research and find cures for cancer and HIV," Kiraitu said.
Waititu’s graduation is expected to quell the mystery of his academic qualifications as early this year, he won a case against former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo who sued him on allegations that he had forged a degree certificate.
The court ordered Kabogo to pay Waititu Sh50.9 million after failing to have Waititu declared unfit to run a public office.
