Speaking during an interview on Thursday night, Waititu said despite being allocated more than eight billion per year, Kiambu has little to show off.

"I tell you sincerely, since I've been in leadership before, Kiambu county is allocated more than eight billions per (financial) year but the work done cannot even add up to two billion. Kabete is never funded by Kiambu county at all," he said.

Waititu said Kabogo is inaccessible.

"Even those who were elected before me have never had a successful meeting with the governor. I want to be a different governor, I'll bring the leadership close to the people of Kiambu. In three years you'll see how Kiambu shall be transformed,"added Waititu.
