President Kenyatta has asked Kiambu leaders to stop the wrangles and work for the residents as Kiambu has proven to be one of the places where politics very much evident among the leaders.
Speaking during celebrations to mark the 20th anniversary of the Jomo Kenyatta University of agriculture and technology from the institution yesterday, the president said that Kiambu is a very peaceful county which he said ha can confirm that after being a leader for a very long time in the areas
He said that the leaders who just want to play politics and not work for the residents will have to be removed by the residents in the next elections and the resident will get themselves leader who can work for them without wrangles
He further r said that this was the message he is sending to every corner of Kenya saying that all leaders must be objective in whatever they do and must serve their electorates with due diligence and without corrupt minds
“Kenyans need our services and that is the reason the elected us to these positions and if one just play politics without working for the people who gave you that position what makes you believe the residents will entrust you with that position again? Let’s work for Kenyans and stop playing politics with the people’s positions.” The president said
