Kiambu women representative Ann Nyokabi and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wa have accused the Ministry of Education of biasness.
The two leaders claimed that the ministry side-lined Kiambu County in the form one selection of last year's KCEP candidates.
"We are the ones who make these schools perform well and yet our children cannot be given a chance there," said Nyokabi.
"We are headed to [Education CS Jacob] Kaimenyi's office to demand a proper allocation in those schools," said Nyokabi.
"Pupils from other counties have been selected to join the national and the county schools here in Kiambu while ours have [been] left to sort themselves. This is totally unacceptable," said Ichung’wa.
The two were speaking at Kiambu Institute of Technology on Thursday during a students' leaders meeting.
