Kiambu County Women representative Annah Nyokabi has urged leaders in the county to put aside their differences and work towards developing the county.
Speaking at Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) on Thursday during a student leaders’ forum, Nyokabi said disunity among leaders is to blame for the county’s stagnation.
"There is a big leadership problem here in Kiambu and am happy that today am here to mentor our tomorrow leaders. We need to unite and work together to be able to move forward,” said Nyokabi.
Nyokabi also told off the advocates of dissolving the county following numerous leadership wrangles saying that the elders and the church are capable of resolving the matter.
"I think our elders and the church have kept quiet for long and it is the high time they intervened to bring order in this county. Dissolving the County government will not help in any away,” notes Nyokabi.
She further called for respect among leaders saying it is the way to go.
