A casual labourer in Kiambu escaped death by a whisker after irate residents threatened to lynch him.
The middle-aged man had allegedly been ambushed having an unnatural act with a sheep.
Reports said a family member found the man on top of the sheep, raised alarm which brought the sleepy Githogoiyo village in Kambaa to a standstill.
Residents were angered by the act.
To make matters worse, a resident said, it was on a Sunday.
“He needs to be beaten up to set an example to other people who engage in such acts with animals,” Joshua Karanja told the Star.
Lari OCPD Isaiah Odhiambo confirmed the incidwnt.
“ He is in custody and investigations are underway. He will be arraigned in court,” he said.
