Residents of Kiambu will have a reason to smile after area Member of Parliament Jude Njomo began constructing the poor state of road within his constituency.
The roads in Kiambu have been in a poor state especially during the rainy season where motorists were having hard time entering Mashinani due to poor state of road.
Jude Njomo who was speaking on Saturday at the construction site in Ngehu village in Kiambu said that he is fulfilling his manifesto set during the campaign ensuring good infrastructure for his people who elected him in the office.
“Am just doing justice for my people who have been tolerating poor state of road for a long time, it is a manifesto I set during my campaign and am planning to keep it real,” said Njomo.
“Private sectors should come out handy in helping the people of Kiambu which definitely will help the country as well when development is concerned,” appealed the MP.
Njomo however urged the residents to remain calm for the construction of roads and promised them that more development is underway before the year ends.
He extended his gratitude to the sponsors who chipped in to ensure the residents have utmost faith in his leadership when development is concerned.
He said that farmers will have no reason to complain for poor road that they could not transport their farm produce to the market and urged farmers to till their lands for a better tomorrow.
“The moment the construction is complete, farmers will have no reason not to till their land for ready market due to good roads to take their farm produce to the market,” said Njomo.
