Kiambu OCPD Stephen Ngetich has cautioned residents against spreading hate on social media and spreading rumours.

Speaking today, Ngetich said the police are taking charge in all parts of the county to guarantee the residents security and it is wrong to use rumours to spread fear.

He went on to caution the people using the social media against dividing Kenyans saying that their days are numbered and the police will soon get them and bring them to justice.

“You have all seen what happened to the man who tried to use social platform to show disrespect to the highest state office. I am sending a message to all those who want to use the social media to spread hatred and animosity among Kenyans that they will be arrested,” he said.
