A pastor in Kiambu County is claiming that his life is in danger a day after a gang allegedly attacked the Limuru-based Compassion Revival Church with pangas.
Pastor James Njenga, who is entangled in a court skirmish with his estranged wife Lenah Njeri, on Tuesdya urged the police to provide him with security as he claims the gang who attacked him wanted to kill him.
Speaking at the church grounds, the clergyman said that he has been forced to spend sleepless nights in the company of his followers and acquaintances.
“I have been forced to spend nights with my friends and my church followers because of the fear of being attacked again by the unknown bandits,” said the clergyman.
The couple is fighting over the custody of their four children who are allegedly living with the pastor currently but the wife wants to claim their custody.
This comes after two people were killed in Limuru two days ago and one of the bodies found near Misiri slums with some of his body parts removed. The other body was found lying in a pool of blood at Rironi fly-over near Limuru town.
