Elderly inmates have in the recent past raised raised a complain and claimed that they have fully reformed and want the President to pardon them.
There are numerous elderly prisoners in the kenyan jails serving varried sentences. Eight such elderly inmates are sitting for the ongoing KCSE examination at Kamiti maximum prisons, Kiambu county.
The question still remains, is there such a thing as too old to be in prison? Does the law consider such cases in any way?
