Police in Ndumberi area of Kiambu are hunting for a man who murderer his 6 years old daughter in cold blood before putting her in a suitcase and dumping her
The man who has been identified as Evance Njau is said to have raped the young girl before killing her.
According to the neighbors the man is a heavy bang user and constantly picked conflicts with his wife who got married with the deceased daughter.
The mother to the deceased Lucy Wangari who spoke to the media said that their conflict with the husband did not guarantee him the right to kill her daughter. She said that she came home and found her daughter not at home only to be called by the husband informing her not to worry of her daughter since he had her.
She said that she did not believe when she was called by her neighbors who informed her that her daughter had been found murdered. She said that the husband had called to apologize but when she was reluctant to answer he informed her that he had sacrificed the young girl and said that he was going to sacrifice all members of his family.
“He called me to apologize then said that he sacrificed my daughter and also said he is going to sacrifice us all. This is something that one can never forgive we have other children we are raising. I can’t imagine he was not sympathetic when he was killing the girl? I am sure she was pleading with him.” The mother said.
Kiambu police boss Mr. Stephen Ngetich said that the police have launched a manhunt for the man and assured to arrest him and make him face the law.
“We cannot accept people to commit murder and get away with it. It’s very sad for an adult man to do this to his own daughter. We will make sure we hunt him down and we will not rest until we find him.” The officer assured.
