Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has challenged politicians to be considerate on what they do and say during public rallies.

Speaking to news reporters at Thika town on Monday, Kabogo expressed concerns over what he termed as careless talk among some leaders.

The governor intimated that leaders must take the responsibility to measures and consider on what they tell the public.

“It is unfortunate that some of our politicians have no respect for the people and their fellow leaders especially in the language they use in rallies,” he said.

Kabogo noted that respect should be mutual and that no leader has a right to make serious allegations against each other unless they have sufficient evidence.

The governor also said that public rallies should not be the ground for politicians to iron their differences.

“We as leaders must understand that their exists institutions that are best fit to receive our allegations we might have against each other, the public is not the right place,” he added.

Kabogo also asked politicians to be accountable on what they say to the public. He added that time has come for leaders to concentrate on their work and stop politics.

The county boss assured locals that hoist government has strategised on how to address pertinent issues facing the people.
