The politicians led by Governor Ferdinand Waititu claim that NASA politicians are forcing the Wiper leader to take oath.

Speaking during a church service at St John  Happy Valley ACK church in Thika Town on Sunday, the politicians  asked Kalonzo not to fall into NASA leader Raila Odinga's political trap.

Waititu asked  the  the former Vice President to quit the NASA  if he  is to survive politically.

The Kiambu governor said that Kalonzo has been treated as ‘flower girl’ for many years with nothing to show for it..

“Kalonzo Musyoka should be wise enough and not fall into NASA’s push of taking an illegal swearing in,” he said.

Waititu said Kalonzo stands to gain nothing even if he is sworn in as the people’s deputy president.

He claimed that NASA is on its ‘deathbed’, adding that Kalonzo will be doing himself a favor if he ditched the coalition.

“We are ready to welcome  Kalonzo to Jubilee if he  decides  to ditch NASA,” Kiambu senator who attended the church service said.

Wamatangi said that Raila will not endorse Kalonzo Musyoka's presidential bid in 2022.

"What we know is that Raila will  be on the presidential ballot  in 2022 and, therefore, it is upon Kalonzo  to decide and shape his politics now," he said.

The Jubilee senator urged Kenyans to ignore the opposition and support President Uhuru Kenyatta’s development agenda.

Kalonzo has been under criticism for snubbing Raila Odinga’s inauguration on January 30.

The former Vice President has been under pressure to abandon the NASA coalition on grounds that Raila might not support him in 2022.

Kalonzo, however, maintains that he is in the Raila Odinga-led coalition to stay.
