While some are not happy at all, others were sympathetic with the Deputy Governor who was caught on Tuesday with another person's 'wife' in a hotel in Kakamega.

Here are some of the reactions from Kiambu residents.

"It is very sad that our leaders are supposed to be representing us at the devolution conference in Kakamega yet some are busy chasing other people's wives," said one Lilian Muthoni from Limuru.

Peter Muhia from Uplands said, "What Deputy Governor Peter Ndambiri has done is not strange, other men also cheat every day and we should not condemn him just because he is a politician."

Another Grace Kimani from Ruiru noted, "He deserved the humiliation and even more. He is a public figure and should watch every move he makes."

Gerald Gichine from Lari added, "This is simply a plot from his rivals to bring him down. He should be more careful next time."

"Ndambiri is a disgrace to Kikuyu men and the entire Kikuyu nation. A man of his calibre ought to attract respect but not the shame he is bringing to his family and the people of Kirinyaga," noted Carol Kinyua a Githunguri resident.

"No one is perfect. Let us not be quick to judge since we are all sinners. Judge and you shall not be judged," advised Grace Wairimu a resident in Kahawa West.

"Ndambiri has a family and did not deserve to be treated in such a manner. Humiliating him as if they are perfect was very wrong," Ann Waweru from Thika sympathised with the Deputy Governor.
