The sacking of Water, Environment and Natural resource CEC, Mr Mugwe has brought a lot of reactions from the residents of Kiambu.
While sacking the CEC, Governor Ferdinand Waititu noted that the executive was not a good team player.
"Unfortunately, I have observed that you are not keen on delivering on your responsibilities. You are also not a good team player," he stated.
Here are some of the reactions:
"I think it's too early to sack him, he is still on the process of delivering," a resident from Gatundu said.
"Mr Mugwe was a key player in Waititu's rise to governorship, that was not a good way of sending him off, he should have been scrutinized before sacking him," Wanjiru said.
"Waititu should have done it in a more meaningful manner by forming a tribunal to look into the matter properly," said Kimani.
"This is a clear picture that all is not well in our county. We hope there will be good relationship between county executives and the governor for a better Kiambu," a resident opined.
"We chose leaders to work not to waste time. Those who will not cooperate with our governor should leave for good, Kiambu should be leading in development" another resident noted.
"All leaders in Kenya should emulate what Waititu did," said Mwangi.
