Kiambu residents have also joined the debate, giving their views on the subject.Mwangi X Muthiora, a Facebook user, on Tuesday posted in the United States of Kiambu group, congratulating President Uhuru Kenyatta for his efforts in fighting corruption in the country."#UhuruInAction: Officials of three major banks that facilitated the loot among those to be arraigned in court later in the day. #WalkingTheTalk," read part of his post. The post caught the attention of a section of Kiambu residents, who did not shy away from giving their views on the matter. Here are some of their reactions:

"Uhuru has been singing the same song since 2013 and there's nothing to show for it, maybe he gets kickbacks from the looters," Timothy Waweru said.

"Matajiri can't be jailed, the law is for poor..2022 some of the suspects will be in parliament," posted Kinyanjui Ndungu.

"We need UHURUTO government out," said Mc Husla.

"We want actions, not people being taken to court. Shoot n kill them my president you have the power or we go to the streets. Where are the human rights," said Christine Kylie Wamucii.

"Just watching them in court and wondering how on earth they squander taxpayers money. What pains me more is how the health sector is na watu hapa tu ni kupora. Hawa wangeachiliwa common mwananchi we deal with them," said Ann Wariara.

"Uhuru's PR stunts.... normal thugs are taken to Industrial area or Pangani police stations...why take them to Muthaiga...The best thing UhuRuto can do is to resign," said Berny George.

"We are used to this. We need action and money recovered. Waiguru was here too and nothing big happened," Pita Kiki said.

"You must be paid to go spread propaganda for UhuRuto or you are part of large blind support our politicians have and encourage them to engage in criminality knowing there are loads of fools out there to defend them," said Njoroge Nginyayu.
