Governor William Kabogo, speaking on Tuesday in Kiambu, said that the new technology uses natural local materials and it is a labour intensive which he believes will create employment opportunities for many Kiambu youths.

“With this technology, my government intends to tarmac very many access roads in the county,” said the governor.

The governor said that he will use the technology which will help his government minimise on the cost and tarmac all the access roads in the county to improve the economic stability which is wanting at the moment.

He said that he will cut down unnecessary costs in the county and him not flying to Malaysia and inviting the delegates into the country is another simpler way of saving.

“I chose not to fly to Malaysia with a delegation and instead invited a team of experts from their country. This will not only help in cutting on costs but we will save money to stir development,” said Kabogo.

Kabogo expressed his concerns with unnecessary costs which is mishandled in the county and vowed to reduce them from the public servants to raise money in construction of Kiambu roads which are at poor state.

Kiambu County Roads and Infrastructure CeC Njeri Gatabaki has lauded the county government for the continuous support and urged residents to remain calm as the manifesto is being fulfilled.
